{"id":647,"date":"2025-11-20T09:10:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T01:10:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ch3st3rr.link\/?p=647"},"modified":"2025-11-21T14:25:58","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T06:25:58","slug":"archery-and-lime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ch3st3rr.link\/?p=647","title":{"rendered":"Archery and lime"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">Haze represses and grey is low,<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Midges wiggle at an unfruitful level, of height&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and the fear of which, the glam of a narcissistic rhyme,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hear a sound, a horn, a blue wagon, a discipline<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">that mustn\u2019t&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emit, light conduction, through a tunnelling crotch,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the immersive heat keeps going a trembling beast&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>whose den is burrowed and he has been told not to,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">plunge too swiftly down the storeys too deep.<br><br><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Thankfully the supple dimple of his,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>recurs,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>repeats and recurs&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>foraged tendons and nerves,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>juice, limousine and the black mesh cropped top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without notice, dusk escapes nights,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and my peri-<strong>o-<\/strong>dical distraction,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ruptured rutting boasts, cramped triceps,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">have you ever spotted our newly recruited mannequins?<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">  <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>A foolish talk brought forward,\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the prophecy recalls&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>teachers, armpits, packed muscles, mildly bruised knees,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>buckles, mittens, skewed from the point, but&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>light flows, memory blows, from head to head, secrets&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>creep, faltering in the troughs of respiratory&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>tracts and rows of flesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">  <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Still, centipedes bite the after-images<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>of torchlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\"> <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>The echoing bedrock is populated&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>with decayed crustaceans,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and tortoises on diarrhoea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Particles and compounds,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the drips stink the hippocampus,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>so that the memory calms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\"> <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Sunlight is<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the most certain darkness. Home!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sweet home, Mary, go home!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where are you going, Mary? Stop!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please, yes! Please do shoot!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HIT YOUR TARGET!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, do it, do it!
